This Terralog volume showcases the geckos that inhabit the islands of Madagascar, the Seychelles, Comoros and Mascarenes. Species of the genera Phelsuma and Uroplatus are amongst the most popular geckos native to the numerous islands of the western Indian Ocean. Individual species accounts are given, including several as yet undescribed forms.  The photographic collection for the individual species are complemented with symbol-based summaries of their individual natural habitats and dietary preferences that are meant to provide guidelines for their captive husbandry and propagation. Its wealth of more than 475 colour photographs makes Terralog the photographic reference for both scientists and herpetoculturists. At the same time, it is a unique synopsis that enables every enthusiast to marvel at the variability of the geckos of this region.
