Wildlife demonstrations

 

Our staff have been captivating audiences since 1994. These years of experience have enabled us to learn how to best reach audiences from the youngest children to the most mature of our community. All our demonstrations are educational without being boring and we have a strong conservation message in our shows. We believe in quality, honesty, value for money and a experience remembered with excitement and wonder. We are also strong believers in passing on the knowledge we have acquired over the years. This ensures you get a demonstration abundant in the latest up-to-date information on our animals delivered with passion.

 

Learn all about Australian wildlife with the convenience of having it brought to you. We own a menagerie of reptiles in which you can choose your favourites for us to bring to your event. To see the animals we own go to the button on the menu called Meet our animals, underneath the button entitled Meet and contact us. 

 

Some people like the connection to nature or wildlife they get when they handle our animals, others like the thrill of seeing Australia's most venomous snakes up close. We offer demonstrations that contain friendly animals used to being handled, and we offer educational exhibits revolved around venomous and other potentially dangerous species.  Our venomous display is non contact. It is also possible to book us for both types of demonstration in one booking.

 

With all our demonstrations and exhibits we encourage people to bring their cameras or get their phones out for photo opportunities.  We never charge for any photos taken.

Training

Like to do a course to improve your snake handling skills?  Looking at getting your Damage Mitigation permit and you need to do a snake catching course? Scott is an approved trainer with the Department of Environment and Science and we hold all the correct certificates and insurances. We also have over 25 years experience of handling venomous snakes (meaning Scott has worked with venomous snakes and pythons for most of his life). We have also written books on keeping and handling venomous snakes.  Here are some aspects of training we are able to help you with:

  • Venomous Snake handling course

  • Snake handling course (non-venomous - pythons)
