School Fetes

We all know how hard it is to keep attention spans focused. Children especially - there is so much to see and explore with so little time to do it. Having us give you a breath-taking main event at your school function will certainly keep people in one spot!

We have three main types of demonstration that we provide at these events.  Having done many of these types of demonstrations we are able to walk you through which may suit your needs better and why. Alternatively if you have something else in mind we are open to ideas and would love to work with you. All our demonstrations are educational, with strong messages of conservation, first aid and animal facts and welfare. To see the animals we could bring to liven up your next fete, click on the meet our animals button in the menu bar below Meet and Contact Us.

The first is a touch table event that is constantly changing- this provides ample opportunity for the public to interact with a wide variety of animals including frogs, turtles, lizards, harmless snakes and crocodiles. The table system is especially good for both the public and the animals as each animal is only out for a short a time before being rested while others come out. The animals are rotated round and come back for several appearances during the show. The advantage of this type of demonstration is people will find something to do until their favorite animal comes back out and they can get another cuddle!

The second is a stage or pit style event. This can include venomous snakes if you wish, or be a combination of non-venomous and venomous. Venomous snakes can give another aspect to your event - always draws a crowd and a conversation. Our venomous snake demonstration is educational without fear mongering- we believe in safety and education rather than myth and exaggeration! Our venomous snakes are not hands on - they are for display only and will be kept in locked enclosures whilst not entertaining the crowd.

The third type of demonstration we use is a walk around type exhibit with the animals you have requested for your demonstration.  The walk around system is especially good for both your customers and the animals as each animal is only out for a short time before being rested while others come out and rotated round.

There are always photo opportunities available, in fact we encourage people to get out their mobile phones and take as many pictures as they like. This also ensures an extra bit of advertising for your event when the pictures are uploaded to Social Media.

We offer educational , fun programs for teenagers at Secondary schools.

Our interactive programs teach with sight, sound and touch so the students enjoy the lesson and tend to take more from the experience than from a text book. The aids we have available help integrate us into various principals of biology such as evolution, genetics and classification.

Holiday Programs

We have two main types of demonstration that we provide at these events.  Having done many of these types of demonstrations we are able to walk you through which may suit your needs better and why. Alternatively if you have something else in mind we are open to ideas and would love to collaborate with you. To see the animals we keep can bring to liven up your day, click on the meet our animals button underneath the button 'meet and contact us' in the menu bar.

The first is what is referred to as a touch table event. (For younger children we find a seated version of this display to be far more effective.) This is a demonstration that is done on a large table or bench. We bring each animal out for a period of time, encourage group activity and chat whilst we reveal fun, interesting facts about the animal we are displaying. The animals are constantly changing - this provides ample opportunity for the children to interact with a wide variety of animals including frogs, turtles, lizards, harmless snakes and crocodiles. The table/seated system is especially good for both the kids and the animals as each animal is only out for a short stint at a time before being rested while others come out. The animals are rotated round and come out several times in the demonstration.  Not only does this give the animals a break in between being petted and handled, we have found everyone has their favorites and eagerly await the return of the reptile they like more.

The second is a stage or pit style event that includes the use of venomous snakes. Venomous snakes can give another aspect to your holiday program - always draws a crowd and a conversation. Our venomous snake demonstration is educational without fear mongering - we believe in safety and education rather than myth and exaggeration! Our venomous snakes are not hands on - they are for display only.  We welcome photos, but there is no handling or petting done by any of the children or staff.  Venomous displays are always a hit as many people have misconceptions about venomous snakes and always walk away amazed at what they have learnt.

Discounts  apply for multiple bookings. Please don't hesitate to call us, click on one of the icons or alternatively fill out the form at the bottom of the page to discuss your needs and to book your next spectacular experience!
