A Naturalist's Guide to Australian Frogs...... coming soon!

Updated: Aug 8, 2021

Scott has been working so hard.

Back to back books. His second book in the Australian Geographic series is almost here. Due to be released mid - late October. I'm so proud of him.

A Naturalist's Guide to the Frogs of Australia is a 176 page, easy to use guide to Australia's 247 frog species and subspecies. Each species has authoritative text describing identifying features, distribution, habits and habitat. The size, common and scientific names are listed along side full colour phots. book on the frogs of Australia. There is an overview of frogs as indicators of environmental health, adaptations, breeding and life cycles, habitats, frog calls, frog friendly gardens as well as an up to date checklist containing all of the frogs of Australia (past and present) with their current global conservation status.

Nature 4 You

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking, “I’d love to support what you do… but how?” — we’ve made it super easy.

You can now shout us a virtual cuppa at buymeacoffee.com/Nature4You.

Every coffee goes straight back into the wild world we love sharing with you.

It helps us upgrade equipment so we can keep bringing you the podcasts you enjoy, travel to capture the images that fill your screens with scales and skin, and spend time researching the incredible animals we write about — in their natural habitats, where the real stories unfold.

Supporting us isn’t just about helping a small team keep creating (although we’re ever so grateful for that).

It’s about backing grassroots ecology — learning about species in context, understanding ecosystems as a whole, and shining a light on why biodiversity matters. The more we can explore responsibly, document thoughtfully, and share what we discover, the more we can foster appreciation for the delicate balance that keeps our natural world ticking along.

So if you’ve ever wanted to play a small part in bigger conservation conversations — this is a simple way to do it. One coffee = more field notes, more wildlife moments, more ecology deep dives, and more stories from the bush straight to you. We promise to put every “coffee” to good use — likely somewhere muddy, sun drenched, or knee-deep in fascinating creatures.

It may even get Scott to buy a water whilst out doing field research in the peak of summer!
