Adeline Robinson is a wildlfe artist and graphic designer with a focus on reptile, fish and equine art. She has worked in the exotic animal industry since 2007 and uses her experience with animals to make her drawings realistic and anatomically correct.

The Red-eyed Tree Frog's coloration is characteristic of flash coloration. Flash coloration is when an organism displays certain colors when resting, and different colours when moving.  With this species the Red-eyed Tree Frog’s stunning eyes are concealed when their eyes are closed, allowing it to camoflauge nicely with leaves. If startled, they are able to flash their vivid red eyes, orange webbed feet, and blue and yellow lateral stripes. These bright colours serve the purpose of scaring predators which allows the frog time to get away.
