Bothrops bilineatus, is known by a few common names: Two-striped forest-pitviper, Parrotsnake, Amazonian palm viper, and Green jararaca. They are a highly venomous, nocturnal species of Pit viper found in the Amazon region of South America. They can be encountered in lowland rain forest, in shrubbery, palms and trees, and anywhere where water is close.
