This book is a facsimile reprint of material by John E. Gray, which was originally published in 1845 and 1867, and material by Albert Günther, his works originally published in 1875.
Published in cooperation with the Australasian Affiliation of Herpetological Societies from the reptile section from "Voyage of the H.M.S. Erebus and Terror" (1845-1867), together with Gray's related book on Australian lizards. The introduction was written by Glenn M. Shea.
